### **Addressing the Frontlines of Everyday Life**

Throughout the gathering, activists and community members grounded the dialogue in the everyday conditions shaping Black life today, highlighting four key priorities:

- **Economic and Housing Justice:** Examining how the rising cost of living, real estate shifts, and persistent institutional neglect directly affect family stability and neighborhood preservation.
- **Moving from Bystander to Upstander:** Calling on individuals and neighbors to shift from passive observation to active engagement in defense of fairness, justice, and human dignity.
- **The Mental Frontline:** Acknowledging that modern systemic challenges test mental and emotional well-being, reinforcing the need for educated, supported, and mentally empowered communities.
- **Intention and Unity:** Reaffirming that community sustainability depends on how thoughtfully people protect, support, and care for one another.
