In the Wake TV covered the season finale of Billie & Beyond, The Billie Holiday Theatre’s signature music series celebrating the legacy of its iconic namesake.
The night showcased the talent of Haitian‑American singer Lala.
Hosted by Brooklyn poet and vocalist Shanelle Gabriel, the evening featured an opening set by Daria Jones and a special DJ set from Que Sera, bringing together musicians, community, and culture under one roof.
